What is pumice stone?
The pumice stone (in Greek is called "Ελαφρόπετρα" the combination of the words ελαφρύς + πέτρα, meaning light + stone) is a porous volcanic mineral, chemically inert. It is created by the volcanic action and the porous of the material due to the voids created by the steam escape during cooling of the lava.

Because of its low weight and low density, its acoustic and other heat-insulating and sound absorbing properties it is an ideal aggregate for the creation of construction products, for soil mixture, for substrate, green gardens and many other uses. Characteristics
